The 7 Best Bluetooth Speakers of 2021 – We Tried Them All!

Bluetooth speakers are becoming an essential accessory that allows us to enjoy our music with a higher quality than if we listen to it directly from our mobile.

There are very clever speakers for less than 20 euros. As we increase our budget, the power and sound quality will improve, but you don’t have to leave a fortune either. The cheapest speakers will already sound much better than any mobile on the market.

The Tronsmart Groove (Force Mini) is a very compact speaker, it has the ideal size to carry it in any backpack, and it is also very resistant.

The entire outer edge is rubberized to protect it from shocks and is certified for IPX7 water resistance, so it can be submerged up to a meter deep for 30 minutes.

Thanks to its size and strength, the Tronsmart Groove has become my 2-year-old nephew’s favorite speaker who can carry it around thanks to its lanyard. Another thing he loves is the passive radiator that the speaker has at the rear. It makes him very funny when it vibrates.

As if that were not enough, the sound it produces is quite good for its size and price. It’s clear, clean, and although the frequency range is somewhat limited (115Hz – 15KHz), it packs a punch.

The mids and highs are relatively good, although the instrument separation could be better. Also, the overall sound lacks a bit of body, because the bass is a bit tighter in power and detail.

According to the manufacturer, the autonomy is 24 hours. I took the speaker with me on vacation for a week and when it came back it was still 70% charged… And we use it quite a bit (about 2 or 3 hours a day) at low volumes.

In addition, if the battery runs out, it can be recharged while still running in a record time of about two and a half hours, thanks to the USB Type-C connection. On the back, we also have a microSD card reader and an auxiliary input for audio (3.5mm).

Finally, it has another ace up its sleeve, it has TWS (True Wireless Stereo). TWS is a technology that allows two speakers to be paired and both sound simultaneously in stereo.

In this case we need to buy two Element Groove speakers to make it work, but for the price they have (about 40 euros for the two speakers) we can start to do the trick at small parties. Also, the stereo greatly enhances the experience when listening to music. Come on, I recommend them, even if it’s for you alone.

The design of the Tribit XSound Go stands out too much, neither for better nor for worse. On the sides we find a black rubber that protects it from shocks and falls. On the front, we have a black grille in which the Tribit logo stands out.

The good thing is that it is quite resistant and although we carry it in our backpack with other things, it does not scratch or leave marks. The ideal for a cheap speaker, not having to carry it between cotton wool.

On the back we have a small silicone cap that protects the micro USB charging port and the 3.5 mm connector. With this, it achieves the IPX7 water resistance certificate, which means that it can be submerged to a depth of one meter for 30 minutes.

But the best thing about the Tribit XSound Go is its sound quality. For its size and price, its sound is excellent.

The basses have a lot of body, but at the same time they are natural and they do not eat the mid frequencies that have enough force and at the same time they are detailed and warm. Voices are heard with emphasis and texture. The highs are very clear and crisp, although they are not overly refined and could be a bit more accurate. This achieves a forceful and colorful sound, although it remains balanced and neutral. Ideal for all kinds of music.

Finally, its battery is inexhaustible and lasts about 24 hours of playback at medium volume. The result is that you can spend weeks using the speaker at medium / low volumes on a single charge.

The Tribit XSound Go is a little gem that is worth more than it costs. Although the design is “meh”, once you turn it on it will no longer matter to you due to its brutal sound quality, IPX7 water resistance and excellent autonomy.

The Tronsmart Element Force is a discreet speaker. Completely black in color, it is covered with a soft rubber that perfectly grips any surface. Perfect so that it does not slip.

It is also certified for IPX7 water resistance, allowing it to survive splashes up to 1 meter deep for 30 minutes.

But the best thing about the Element Force is its sound. Its bass is powerful and detailed. They could have a bit more punch, but they make up for it by having a lot of travel.

The media are really good and the voices are great. They are strong, clear and have a very natural texture.

The highs lag a bit more behind, but still leaves quite quality details.

In addition, it reaches enough volume (for its size and price) so it is powerful enough to liven up small parties.

Its autonomy is about 12 hours at medium volume and it charges in 3.5 hours via USB-C.

As if that were not enough, it has TWS (True Wireless Stereo) so it can be synchronized with another speaker to achieve true stereo sound.

In short, for € 50 that the Element Force usually costs, you will not find a better speaker.

The Flip 4 is a speaker that came out a few years ago, in fact, the Flip 5 is already on sale, but thanks to that the price of the Flip 4 has dropped and it has become one of the best speakers on the market below of 100 euros.

Its design and build quality is excellent. The fabric that covers the speaker combines strength and a premium look and feel. In addition, it is waterproof (IPX7), has hands-free, LEDs that indicate the battery level and a lanyard to carry it more easily.

Its sound is colorful and attractive. The mids have good texture, the highs are quite detailed and the bass is really powerful… making the whole sound very full and fun.

Another thing to keep in mind is that the bass fills the spaces with people very well. So the Flip 4 does very well in gatherings of friends and small parties, both indoors and outdoors.

In terms of autonomy, it gets about 15 hours of playback at medium volume. The full charge takes about 3 and a half hours.

It also has the JBL Connect + function that allows you to connect more than 100 speakers between them to play music in a synchronized way. In addition, the timing is stable, easy, and instantaneous. It is so simple that we do not even have to synchronize the speakers with the mobile to do it.

The Flip 4 is a great speaker that thanks to being a few years old can be found at an excellent price for its characteristics. Get it before they run out!
